This rueful, darkly funny portrait of a skinny, terminally wistful bass player "on a collision course with oblivion" was a hit on the festival circuit. Finland's schizoid psyche is once again on display as young Zombie bounces from the army to down-and-out jobs, living with his girlfriend, drinking too much, and trying to get a gig with the Ghost Train, a band that's "seen but never heard". "Zombie and the Ghost Train" is a Sid Vicious story for the '90's, a punk-tinged comedy about one pretty wasted guy.
