Less than a year after Glenn Close and John Malkovich schemed their way to a Best Picture Oscar nomination for Dangerous Liaisons, writer/director Milos Forman gave us this sultry take on the source material. Starring Colin Firth as the lecherous Valmont and a glowing Annette Bening as the vicious vixen Merteuil, the lush period piece explores the sexual intrigues of bored aristocrats in 18th century France. And even though that sounds like the polar opposite of anything on HGTV, Bening's tub scene may have you mulling a master bath renovation tout de suite.
