Vincent Price buries his deceased wife in a country churchyard certain that she will not rest in piece. Months later he falls in love with and marries Lady Trevanion, an exact replica of his first wife. They move into his Gothic abbey and she soon discovers his fixation with his dead spouse and becomes the object of evil happenings.
