The Parallax View

The Parallax View is a dark thriller that tells the story of Joe Frady (Warren Beatty), a journalist who is approached by his terrified ex-girlfriend Lee Carter (Paula Prentiss) when she witnesses a senator's assassination and now, due to the fact that other witnesses keep dying, fears for her own life. When she does eventually turn up dead, Frady dives deeper into her conspiracy theory and his investigation leads him to a small town that holds the identity of the killers. Realizing that a corporation backed the deaths, Frady infiltrates the company as a hired assassin and just when he is beginning to understand what the corporation, Parallax, is all about, he sees that they know all too much about him as well.
