The Kid From Brooklyn

Danny Kaye becomes involved in a street brawl outside the night club where his sister, Vera-Ellen, is an entertainer and is credited with knocking out the world's champ, played by Steve Cochran. The champ's manager seizes the opportunity to build "a revenge bout" for the world's middleweight title when Danny becomes convinced he really is a tiger in the ring after winning a series of fixed fights.
