The Inspector - The Shooting of Caribou Lou

The INSPECTOR takes a summer sabbatical in order to study the Canadian Prison system. He serves temporarily with the Mounted Police while doing this. His assignment to guard the notorious Caribou Lou results in Lou's escaping from the pen on that very same day and taking the INSPECTOR along as his hostage. In spite of trying every ruse he can think of, the INSPECTOR is unable to escape from his very watchful captor. Not only is his dignity bruised from having to submit to his diminutive jailor, but the INSPECTOR is further embarrassed by having to serve him in the capacity of a servant, cook and bottle washer. But at last he finds the weak spot in Caribou Lou's character and he uses it in order to shoot the blackguard, figuratively and photographically.
