The INSPECTOR is mistakenly sent to prison for a crime which was committed by a criminal who looks just like him. In order to prove his innocence, he is compelled to attempt to break out of prison. He tries all different means of escape, each time failing and adding time to his sentence. He ends up on the rock pile, philosophically saying, "Oh, well, I may not be able to break prison, but I'm sure learning how to break rocks!"
