The Inspector - French Freud

Melody Mercurochrome is in Paris to steal the DuBarry emerald. She knows that attempts made by other thieves have not been successful because of the INSPECTOR's sleuthing. She decides to use the spider and fly tactic: charm him first and then do him in. She moves next door to the INSPECTOR's apartment to start her plot; the INSPECTOR is charmed. But in her further execution of the plan, Melody is so noisy that the police are summoned and both are arrested.
