Wall Street wunderkind Tommy (Scott Porter) adopts bookish Daniel (Bryan Greenberg) as his protégé, vowing to bring the wallflower up to speed in trading stocks and wooing women. But the student soon surpasses his master - inadvertently catching the eye of Tommy's girlfriend Beth (Alexis Bledel). The ensuing yuppie love triangle plays out on the streets of Manhattan in a romantic comedy with plenty of big city bite.
