Four astronauts explore Mars and find they are anything but welcome. Strange, horrifying creatures try to kill them, and when they attempt to lift off, a giant amoeba-like monster envelops the ship. They finally succeed in breaking away, and make it back to Earth. Once safely home, a message from Mars warns humans never to return.
