Bobby Chalmers (Jimmy Clanton) wants to be a singer and one day sneaks his song into one of the stations his father owns to get played. The tune makes him an overnight sensation. However, when Bobby meets the the girl of his dreams, he can not bring himself to tell her who he really is. Meanwhile, Bobby's AuntTheodora (Zasu Pitts) hires a bodyguard, Rocky Graziano, the World Middleweight Boxing Champion in 1947, to watch over him.
