Shadows and Fog

There's a strangler on the loose, and it's not Woody Allen. If only he could convince the angry vigilante mob on his trail. Meanwhile, sword-swallower Mia Farrow finds her big top marriage on the rocks when her clown husband (John Malkovich) makes time with tightrope walker Madonna, and so she runs off to join a whorehouse. The A-list ensemble takes a backseat to the atmosphere in Allen's black-and-white homage to German Expressionism.
