An old prospector friend of the Mesquiteers strikes gold and plans to share the proceeds with them. But he is murdered and Stony, accused of the crime, faces an angry lynch mob demanding revenge. The other Mesquiteers must expose the crooked politician who committed the murder, and save Stony.
