After the Spanish-American War, Roy and Rusty become border patrolmen in Texas, and join forces with other former Rough Riders to capture gold bandits. However, Roy is held responsible when a gold shipment is robbed, and civilians and patrolmen are killed. Responding to the pressure, he and Rusty bring in the bandit master-mind, the crooked gold-mine manager.
