Rollerball

Rollerball is a game played in a future society in which the world is ruled by giant corporations – poverty and war have been eliminated, but so has free will. Forced to fight for his life, Jonathan E, the world's most famous rollerball star, goes looking for answers from Zero, the central computer that controls much of this sterile world. But eventually, Jonathan E must take his search back to the game, where his superlative, grisly individual exploits provide a beacon of hope for the world's billions.
