Movie critic Allan Felix (Woody Allen) is getting a divorce and there's only one person in the world he can turn to: Humphrey Bogart. As Allan tries his best to climb back upon the dating merry-go-round, Bogie offers up impromptu lessons in smooth - with disastrous results. Married friends Linda and Dick (Diane Keaton and Tony Roberts) step in with some equally precarious attempts at matchmaking, but it's Linda who winds up reviving Allan's heart.
