It is one of those nights when the PINK PANTHER cannot find a place to sleep. So he sneaks into the lobby of the posh Ritz-Plaza Hotel where a convention is in progress by the "Knights of the Fez". The Panther is ejected by the house detective. By putting a flower pot on his head the Panther gains entry by joining a group of fun-loving conventioneers but the sharp eyed house dick catches sight of him as the elevator leaves the lobby floor. The dick makes a beeline up the stairs to head the intruder off. A game of hide-and-seek ensues with the Panther trying to get some shut eye in the luxurious hotel while at the same time trying to keep out of the house detective's way. Of course the frustration finally drives the poor house dick into resigning but in spite of this the Panther is fated to remain sleepless.
