A masked, evil-looking desperado silently climbs to the second floor of a building, intending to crack a seemingly normal safe. Little does he realize that this particular safe is in the home of the PINK PANTHER. As the thief quietly turns the dial for the right combination, loud music blares forth; as he makes an opening in the top of the safe, he falls out of the window; and in various other attempts the Panther outsmarts him every time. At last, the Panther generously offers the safe to the thief. Wary of the Panther's intentions the thief ponders the proposal. His wariness turns out to be justified.
