Osama

PG-13 2004 | 83 mins | Drama

When the Taliban forbids women from working - or even leaving their houses without a male companion - a 12-year-old Afghan girl disguises herself as a boy named Osama to get a job and support her mother and grandmother, the only surviving members of her family. The charade becomes much more dangerous when "Osama" is drafted and sent to a military training school, where her potentially deadly secret could be revealed at any moment.
