Moll Flanders

Loosely based on Daniel Defoe's 1722 novel of the same name, this period drama tells the story of a girl (Robin Wright) who pulls herself up from poverty to become an independent woman - even if she has to resort to prostitution to make ends meet. While the mean streets of London offer few kindnesses to ladies of the night, Moll keeps hope alive that someday she'll find a better future, and possibly even true love.
