Dennis and Hal are eager to acquire a quick fortune by the most expedient method : robbery. They rob a bank and hide the loot in Hal's recently deceased mother's coffin. They then have to deal with the body and get back the money. Based on Joe Orton's hilarious and controversial play, this off-beat black comedy leads to a surprising but perfectly logical denouement.
