Victor's a pizza delivery boy, Elena's the junkie he hooked up with a few nights before, Sancho and David are the cops dispatched to break up their domestic scuffle, and Clara's the wife Sancho suspects is unfaithful. A single bullet changes all of their lives forever, as we flash forward years later to Victor's release from prison and his next encounter with Elena, now cleaned up and married to David - who's in a wheelchair. Writer/director Pedro Almodovar weaves their stories together into a taut tale of morality, guilt and chance.
