Kuziemski vs. Cleverly
Update: Jurgen Braehmer has dropped out due to an eye injury - he has been replaced by Aleksy Kuziemski.
Nathan Cleverly will now make the first defense of his WBO World Light-Heavyweight title against Aleksy Kuziemski from Poland this Saturday at the 02 Arena in London. The unbeaten Welshman was declared World Champion by the WBO after Jurgen Braehmer was stripped. From Swiece in Poland, but now based out of Hamburg, Germany, Kuziemski has a good record of 21 wins from 23 fights and is the former WBO Intercontinental/German/EBA Light-Heavyweight Champion.
James "Chunky" DeGale is the new British super-middleweight champion after beating Paul Smith in Liverpool. He has now set his sights on bitter rival Commonwealth super-middleweight champion George Groves.
Groves is aiming to meet former amateur rival DeGale in a huge showdown. "Saint" George has built an impressive unbeaten record, and now wants to cap it by beating DeGale. If he does beat the British champion, it will be a repeat of their 2006 meeting - which Groves won.
