Eddie Cantor is in love with Ethel Merman and, when he is left a fortune by a famous archeologist, he must go to Africa to claim his inheritance. There he encounters a Sheik who has vowed vengeance because the tomb of his ancestors has been desecrated by the archeologist. Eddie saves the Sheik's daughter, but is threatened with death by a jealous prince and is finally saved by a ruse.
