Chuck Barrett (Foxworth) is a police detective with two things on his mind. One is his girlfriend (Powers). The other is a string of mysterious killings. A young actress found dead in her bathtub is the first to die. Then a beautiful dancer is murdered on stage during a rehearsal. The victims share one bit of personal history: they all testified against Roger Sand. But Sand is behind bars at the Institute for the Criminally Insane. How did his fingerprints turn up at the murder scenes? Barrett's investigation leads him into the strange world of the supernatural as he enlists the help of the murderer's last surviving target.
