Red Band Sneak: Vampire Hunter

As jammed packed this summer is, what other film will bring you vampires, American History and all out warfare? Timur Bekmambetov’s Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter! Tim Burton produced the film while author Seth Grahame-Smith assisted with the screenplay. Beware, this trailer is a bit gruesome. Opens everywhere June 22nd.

Q&A w/ THE Man in Black

Men in Black 3 opens nationwide this Memorial Day weekend. Hitfix sat down with the film’s star Will Smith to find out just how the time travel plot came to be. Shaq Suits Up For Grown Ups 2

Four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal has suited up in a new uniform. However, this time around he’s a cop in Sony’s upcoming sequel Grown Ups 2. Shaq’s had a ton of nicknames in his career (The Big Aristotle, Superman, Shaqtus, The Diesel, Wilt Chamberneezy, The Big Shamrock, Dr. Shaq), but he’s never been known as a pig. Catching Fire Gets New Title

Lionsgate has officially retitled the sequel to The Hunger Games. The sequel will officially be called The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The studio looks to benefit from the name recognition. The Hunger Games has grossed just under $400 million domestically and a whopping $636 million worldwide. Francis Lawrence will direct the sequel set to hit theaters November 22nd, 2013.

Hopkins Juggles Upcoming Sequels

Hollywood icon Anthony Hopkins is getting ready to have quite the busy summer and fall. Already planning Disney’s sequel to Thor, Hopkins is currently in talks to join Summit’s sequel to 2010’s action hit Red. These two sequels might pose scheduling conflicts for Hopkins, but stay tuned because the Academy Award winner shows no signs of slowing down.

The Rock Dishes on G.I. Joe in 3D

As you already know G.I. Joe: Retaliation has been pushed to March 2013. Now, the film’s star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has taken to Twitter to let the world know why the new release date will enhance the film. Johnson said that they are “Designing new scenes to enhance 3D”. Sounds good to me. What do you think?

Gary Oldman Joins RoboCop Remake

Hollywood vet Gary Oldman will join the cast of MGM’s RoboCop remake. The film will be directed by Jose Padilha and will star Joel Kinnaman as the iconic character. Oldman was recently nominated for an Oscar for Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and will appear this summer in The Dark Knight Rises. Click through for more details.

Warner Bros’ Dark Knight Rises marketing campaign is in full swing. Just check out this all new TV spot which showcases Bane, the bat-wing and more Joseph Gordon-Levitt. The Dark Knight Rises opens in theaters and IMAX beginning July 20th. Stay tuned for more.

Murray Leads Moonrise Kingdom Tour

Are you as excited as I am about Wes Anderson’s upcoming comedy Moonrise Kingdom? Well, just in case you still need some influencing, here’s Bill Murray giving a tour of the Moonrise Kingdom set. This looks to be Murray at his finest, in his element, doing what he does best. So check out the tour and tell me this film doesn’t look incredible.

Spider-Man Sneak Before MIB IMAX 3D

Spider-Man fans will get an amazing treat this weekend. Sony will attached a six-minute preview of The Amazing Spider-Man to their Memorial Day weekend blockbuster Men in Black in IMAX 3D. Men in Black 3 opens this Thursday at midnight, so I highly suggest you grab some tickets while they’re still available. Amazing Spider-Man opens July 3rd.
