Indomptable Angelique

NR 1967 | 85 mins | Adventure
Seeking to find her husband Peyrac whom she knows to be alive, Angelique embarks aboard a galley sailing for the island of Langoustiers, on the Mediterranean sea. In order to get away from the Moors who attack the galley, Angelique is forced to jump into the water, without noticing that the leader of the Moors is none other than Peyrac. Angelique is rescued by a three-master boat. However seeing that she resists his advances, the captain decides to have her sold in the slave market at Candia. The beautiful Angelique is bought and taken to a house overlooking the sea, where her dear husband is waiting for her. However their happiness is short-lived, as some men distract Peyrac's attention by setting his boat on fire and kidnap Angelique.
