Migrant worker Hector dreams of following in his father's footsteps to become a champion boxer, but he's stuck picking up a few bucks here and there trading blows in bar fights. When his mother becomes ill, he steps up his game - taking on any match he can to pay for her heart medication, including a showdown with the owner of the ranch where he spends his days picking fruit.
