At a certain point we have to ask ourselves, is the world ready for two vampires named Edward? Ethan Hawke thinks so. The former Generation X poster boy is out for blood – or at least a viable substitute – in this futuristic fang flick, where the earth is overrun with highly civilized, voraciously capitalistic vampires. But you can't buy blood once you've exhausted the world's supply... or when your human livestock finally start fighting back.
