In Cash Crop, also known as Harvest, James Peterson (Van Der Beek) and his friends come to the rescue in this spirited coming-of-age adventure set in Oxford, a struggling little town, smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Nothing ever seems to happen, that is, until the farmers begin growing marijuana to pay their mounting debts. All seems to be going well until the DEA arrives. Suddenly everyone is running for cover and the pressure is on to hide the illegal crop. The tensions rise as the DEA infiltrates Oxford and turns a volatile situation into a more explosive web of intrigue.
