A cowboy drifter vows to help a gold mining town fight a claim-stealing gang. When the cowpoke, now Marshal, finds a wounded gunslinger, he assumes the gunman's identity to infiltrate the gang. Deep trouble follows when the gunslinger returns and exposes him as a fake.
