Brothers

Natalie Portman is torn between two brothers: the memory of her fallen Marine husband Sam (Tobey Maguire), and the newfound spark with his brother Tommy (Jake Gyllenhaal). But Sam isn't really dead-and while his homecoming could well drive this story into made-for-cable tissue territory, director Jim Sheridan takes a much darker route. Even though Sam's got a new chance at the life, the wife and the kids he left behind, he's bringing the war home with him. Cue the police sirens...
