He's no Clarence from "It's a Wonderful Life" but Terry Dean (Paul Hogan) is also trying to earn his wings. After a stint in jail he saves the life of a little girl but is seriously injured in the process. He becomes convinced in the hospital that God has visited him and he is on his way to becoming an Angel - but first he's got to perform some angel worthy tasks.
